Carolina Perelman is a Peruvian director, writer, and producer whose work has been showcased in Spain, the United States, Panama, and Venezuela. Her play Claridad (2019) explores the psychological impacts of migration, while Between Remembering and Forgetting (2021) examines the nature of memory in Holocaust survivors, based on a family testimony. She has also produced films such as Los Batracios and Harakiri, both currently making their way through the international festival circuit. Her debut feature, Confesiones Chin Chin (2024), which delves into the often unseen lives of migrants and queer artists in Madrid, premiered at LesGaiCineMad and is now part of Slamdance Film Festival. With projects in post-production, two films in pre-production, and Fuenteovejuna—a collaboration with TeatroXtremo, which she is writing and producing for a 2025 premiere—she continues to push creative boundaries across multiple disciplines.
