ABOUT THE PROCESS
For four months of rehearsals, we met several times a week at my house to get to know each other and build trust. My approach was to accept everything that emerged, resist the urge to reject it, and learn to navigate uncertainty. Adapting to each actor, finding common ground, and working from there was key. When filming began, the movie took shape in real-time: there was no script, only a treatment outlining the premises of each scene. Before shooting, I would describe the situation, and they would interpret it based on their accumulated experience from rehearsals, with no certainties or formulas, guided only by intuition. The relationships between the characters, initially well-defined, transformed throughout the process; the concrete became ambiguous, dynamics shifted, and everything turned into an exploration game. The essence was not to impose but to observe how they interacted, how they emotionally negotiated, and how each moment revealed something new.
